The Sada Wasima news agency also reported that Abbas Iraqichi, Iran's foreign minister, met with Steve Witkoff on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

This news agency wrote: "Notice of Iran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz" is the main reason for this meeting. The radio station announced "immediate lifting of the naval blockade, immediate payment of all blockaded Iranian assets and the end of the war on all resistance fronts" among Iran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
