The foreign ministers of Iran's four neighboring countries called for the revival of diplomacy to end tensions in the region

On the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, which is being held in New York, the foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia held a consultation meeting and issued statements.

In this statement, concern was expressed about the continuation of tensions in the region and diplomacy was announced as a way "to achieve sustainable solutions".

The foreign ministers of these countries also emphasized the need to adhere to the Islamabad Memorandum for lasting peace and stability.
