Trump: Iran was looking to build a missile that could target Europe

US President Donald Trump continued his speech at the UN General Assembly and said that Iran continued to build huge stockpiles of missiles and drones and claimed that Tehran had built a missile capable of targeting Europe. According to him, Iran's goal was to move towards building nuclear weapons under the auspices of such a missile force.

Referring to the ground attack on October 7, Trump said that the perpetrators of this ground attack were financed by Iran and added that the Iranian government "celebrated such violence." He then accused the Iranian government of mass killing its own citizens and said such a government should not be able to operate "behind the nuclear shield."
