Trump: The American economy is at its peak and the country's borders are safer than ever

In his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, US President Donald Trump said that since the beginning of his term as president, more than a million jobs have been created in the private sector, and claimed that the poverty rate in America has reached a historic low.

He also said that US stock markets had hit record highs and claimed that his administration had pulled out commitments for $21 trillion in new investment in America.

Trump went on to say that the US border is now the "most secure border in the history" of this country and claimed that no illegal immigrants have entered the US in the past 16 months. He also referred to the reduction of crime and murder as one of his government's achievements.
