The US Secretary of State said: "I don't think anything is planned at the moment, but we are certainly ready for such a meeting, especially if the chance is positive results and finally the realization of the main goal."

Mr. Rubio said what he means by such a vision is that "Iran will never have a nuclear weapon."

Abbas Irakchi, Iran's foreign minister, has been in New York since Monday, and Massoud Maksad also went to that city to deliver a speech at the General Assembly.

Donald Trump told the Fox network two days ago that he is ready to meet Massoud Pazhkian.
