Iraq says Iran has not allowed Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz

Ali Zaidi, the Prime Minister of Iraq, said that Iran did not allow Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to him, Tehran's goal in this action is to raise the world oil price.

Mr. Zaidi said: "The issue is not related to close or distant relations with them. In any case, they intend to apply pressure."

He added that since the beginning of the war, Iraq has lost about 60 billion dollars of its income, as well as 60% of its monthly export income.
