Iraq has arrived in New York

The state news agency IRNA announced the arrival of Abbas Irakichi, Iran's foreign minister, in New York City to attend the United Nations General Assembly.

Media in Iran said that he went to New York "at the head of a diplomatic delegation".

According to IRNA, besides attending the UN meetings, Mr. Iraqchi is going to "talk and consult with a large number of officials and foreign ministers attending the meeting."
