Cyrus Ebrahimzadeh, Iran's veteran radio, television, theater and cinema actor, has died at the age of 89 and far from his homeland.

Announcing his death on his Instagram page, veteran actor and presenter Peshamb Bromand expressed his condolences to Nahid Kabiri, the writer and poet and wife of Mr. Ibrahimzadeh.

Syros Ibrahimzadeh was born in 1316 in Ardabil and received a master's degree in theater from England. He started his career on radio and television in 1346 and acting in the movie "Hassan Kechel" directed by Ali Khatami was his first cinematic experience.

Among his activities in the theater we can mention the plays "Othello", "Jaffer Khan Has Returned from Farang" and "Maliha". He also played in the TV series "Beautiful Hairdresser", "Love District", "Grandma's Surf", "Jasmine Flower Perfume" and "Cactus".

In 1379, Syros Ibrahimzadeh received the Golden Statue for Best Supporting Actor from the 4th Khanna Film Festival for his role in the movie "Mummy 3".
