Basant: Sanctions of all Iranian airlines will be implemented from tomorrow

Scott Bessant, the US Treasury Secretary, said that starting tomorrow, the world's skies will be closed to all Iranian airlines.

Almost two weeks ago, the US Treasury put 27 Iranian airlines on the sanctions list.

Mr. Basant said he did not know how long the standoff with Iran would last, but said he had discussed Iran's sanctions against China.

The President of China will leave for America in two days and talk with Donald Trump about various issues including the sanctions on Iran.

Mr. Basant previously said that in his conversation with Wang Yi, the Chinese Vice Prime Minister, he was preparing the ground for talks between the two presidents about the sanctions on Iran.
