The initial results of the elections in Russia show that the ruling party "United Russia" leads by a long distance in the parliamentary elections held in three days.

This party, which has the support of Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, managed to keep two-thirds of the seats in the parliament.

In the absence of parties opposing the Russian war in Ukraine, the victory of this party was largely expected.

The liberal Yabloko party, the anti-war party, was removed from the electoral list.

These elections will take place at a time when the mayor of Moscow said that in the last two days, Ukraine launched a ground attack on the Russian capital with hundreds of drones. Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, described these attacks as the largest ground drone attack on the city and said that at least 450 drones have attacked Moscow since Saturday.
