Uzbekistan and the USA signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation between the nuclear institutions of the two countries.

According to Podrubeno, an Uzbek news site, this cooperation will include Yemeni standards, testing and emergency preparedness.

According to this report, the two countries agreed to strengthen cooperation in the Yemeni nuclear field in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

This Memorandum of Understanding was signed during the 70th session of the IAEA General Assembly in Vienna.
