Pakistan's interior minister is traveling to Iran on Sunday

Ismail Bakai, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Iran, announced that Mohsen Naqvi, the interior minister of Pakistan, will travel to Tehran on Sunday (tomorrow).

He described this trip as a visit centered on bilateral relations and focused on previous agreements between the two countries, and said he was not aware of any specific message or proposal from the US that was supposed to be delivered during this trip.

However, this meeting is being held in a situation where Tehran, alongside the continuation of clashes and the escalation of regional tensions, has set conditions for the renewal of negotiations with Washington.

Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, told the Al Jazeera news channel that Tehran had conveyed to the US its terms for negotiations through the mediators of Qatar and Pakistan and was now "waiting for President Trump's response."
