Yemen's Houthis say they launched a ground attack on several "sensitive" facilities in Riyadh and also on one of Aramco's facilities in Yanbu, on the Red Sea coast.

Amin Hayan, the Houthis' spokesperson, announced in statements that they attacked those facilities with ballistic missiles and drones in their recent attacks.

So far, Saudi Arabia has not responded to this statement nor confirmed or denied it.

Earlier, Saudi authorities announced that they intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired toward Riyadh that day, but did not confirm the occurrence of additional attacks.

Earlier, a column of black smoke was seen from fuel tanks near Riyadh International Airport, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where flights were temporarily halted on Saturday.
