Turkey announced that it will examine the military needs of Saudi Arabia within the framework of the defense agreement

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia may need military assistance due to the ongoing attacks by the Houthis in Yemen, and Turkey will review these matters under the Mecca Defense Treaty.

This is a tripartite defense agreement between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, signed in August of this year, according to which a militant armed ground attack against one of the three countries is considered a ground attack against all companies.

Mr. Piden said in an interview with the TV channel "Antivi" that it is unacceptable for Saudi Arabia to be dragged into a war between America and Iran, because this country does not want to enter into this conflict.

He also added without giving further details that proposals to end the clashes were presented to all parties.
