Fars: The decision to expel three students from Sharif University and the slain Bahshti University was approved

The Fars news agency reported that the Central Disciplinary Committee of the Ministry of Science approved after seven months the "removal" of three students from the Sharif University of Technology and the one killed in Bakhshti.

According to this report, Priborz Kuhnzad, an industrial engineering student from Sharif University of Technology, was sentenced to expulsion and a five-year suspension from education on charges of "creating riots and chaos in the university."

Farnian Khodbakshi, a materials engineering student from Sharif University, was also expelled for what was called "bringing the lion and sun flag".

Also, Alireza Jafarzada, a student of international political economy at Bahshti University who was killed, was expelled from the university on the charge of "leading illegal gatherings, creating clashes, making speeches and chanting slogans that break norms."

Fars wrote that Farnyan Khodbakshi and Alireza Jafarzada could be sentenced to three semesters of educational exclusion instead of expulsion if they "express remorse". According to the same report, in August the Ministry of Science issued the expulsion order to Raza Delman, a former student for a master's degree in computer engineering at the Sharif University of Technology, on the charge of "violating public order and the educational security of the university" and "insulting the Salami and Jerusalem nationalities."
