According to the story that many of us have heard, Homer was a blind poet who lived in ancient Greece around 900 BC and wrote the "Iliad" and "Odyssey", two basic Hamas poems from ancient times.

There is no doubt about the genius behind these two masterpieces, but according to some experts, this "genius" may never have existed.

Contemporary scholars believe that Homer, as the creator of these two foundational works, was not a historical figure. His name was probably the embodiment of a group of poets and editors of different generations who collected oral traditions and wrote them down.
