A man's home in Pakistan has become famous for planting more than 5,700 trees and plants in his home for his mother.

Mian Asghar Ali started planting plants in his home from 2016 onwards, as his mother told him that she wanted to have a "green garden" at home.

Mr. Ali, whose mother lives with him, initially rejected this demand because he did not think there was "enough space" to create a garden at home.

Mr. Ali's mother was disappointed by this comment and remained silent.

Mr Ali told BBC Urdu: "When I looked at my mother's face, I was moved."

Since then he has planted and cared for more than 5,700 plants.

The cost of the garden project at Mr. Ali's house is more than 14 thousand dollars.
