At the behest of US President Donald Trump, the Pentagon released a new set of classified documents and images of "unidentified flying objects".

The sixth set of these documents includes reports from 1952 onwards.

Some of these images were recorded by Delbert C. Newhouse, a senior officer in the US Navy, near Trumpton, Utah, USA.

This film was transferred to the US Air Force some time later, and later became one of the images examined in the "Blue Book" project. Blue Book was a program the US Air Force operated between 1952 and 1969 to investigate reports of unidentified flying objects.

However, the limited quality and detail of the film and the lack of fixed reference points in the image made the researchers reach a definitive conclusion about the nature of these objects.
