Reports of smoke around Riyadh International Airport

Reuters quoted an eyewitness as saying that flames and a large amount of black smoke were seen near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

According to Reuters, the Saudi Arabian government did not respond to a request for comment on the matter.

We previously reported that Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense Organization announced the activation of early warning and danger sirens in Riyadh and then announced the end of this warning.

This was the first warning in the capital of Saudi Arabia since the escalation of the conflict between this country and the Houthis in Yemen.
