🔻 Pakistan's foreign minister emphasized in a conversation with Iraq the continued transfer of energy and the safe passage of ships

Pakistan's state news agency, IPPI, reported that Ishaq Dar, that country's deputy prime minister and foreign minister, discussed the latest developments in the region with Abbas Irakichi, Iran's foreign minister.

According to this report, Mr Dar in this speech emphasized the importance of uninterrupted energy transfer and the safe and fast passage of ships and said that a disruption in this area could have important consequences for developing countries and global supply chains.

He also emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy is the only practical way to ensure peace and stability in the region.

Both sides agreed to continue their close cooperation and meet with each other on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York.
