Zelensky thanked Trump for signing the Iran and Russia sanctions law
It was previously reported that Donald Trump signed the law that imposes extensive sanctions against Russia and also the extension of sanctions against Iran. Now Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, thanked the President of the United States for signing this law.
The legislation was co-authored by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died earlier this summer. Mr. Graham traveled to Ukraine before his death.
"The best way to honor Lindsey's memory would be to implement the provisions of this law fully and quickly," Mr. Zelensky wrote on the X social network.
