Asala Nasri, a famous Syrian singer, after 15 years away from Syria, appeared in a concert at Al-Fihah Theater in Damascus on Thursday and was warmly received by the audience.
This event was held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the government of Muhammad Julani and the Union of Artists of this country, in which Muhammad Yassin Saleh, the Minister of Culture of Syria, presented a plaque of honor to Asla.
In 2011, at the same time as the interceptions began in Syria, he supported the movement of this country and condemned the actions of Bashar al-Assad's government. Because of this support he was expelled from the Union of Artists. He lived in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt all these years.
