Deadly school shooting in the Philippines; The attacker was a 16-year-old boy
Three people were killed and at least eight people were injured in a shooting at a high school in Banga in the southeastern Philippines.
Albert Palencia, the mayor of Banga, told the BBC that two 14-year-old students were among the dead.
According to him, the attacker, who was a 16-year-old boy, was killed. Four of the injured are now reported to be in serious condition.
The Philippine Department of Education expressed deep concern in statements.
This is the third fatal school shooting in the Philippines in the past three months.
