Funderline offered Canada partnership membership in the European Union.

Ursula Fondrline, President of the European Commission, offered Canada to join the European Union as a partner member.

He presented this proposal in his annual speech to the European Parliament; Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, was also present. After the speech, Ms. Fondrline embraced Mr. Carney amid roaring applause from the delegates.

Following a deterioration in its relations with the United States during Donald Trump's presidency, the Prime Minister of Canada tried to strengthen Canada's relations and alliances with other countries.

The BBC reporter in Europe says it is still unclear what exactly the meaning of "the joint membership" of Canada will be, and some member states of the Union prefer to expand relations with Canada based on existing agreements.

Ms. Fondrline also announced the plan to create a "European Security Council" and said that Ukraine, Britain and Norway could also be present in it. He also confirmed that the European Union will demand a ban on social media use by children under the age of 13 and said that Brussels will try to balance its trade relations with China.

Regarding the intense summer heat in Europe, the head of the European Commission described it as "destructive" and said that programs are being prepared to better mitigate the impacts of climate change.

He also warned of the rise of extreme political currents within and outside the European Union and said that some of these currents are hostile to the values of the European Union.
