Sisi and bin Salman met in Cairo
The Saudi Crown Prince met and talked with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi in Cairo.
Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Cairo today for an official visit.
Egypt's presidential office reported that Mr. Sisi and Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the necessity to ensure the release and security of shipping in Egypt in Belmandab and the Red Sea.
This ministry also stated that Egypt supports the actions of Saudi Arabia to maintain the security and stability of its country and strive for a comprehensive and stable political solution to the crisis in Yemen.
Last week, the Houthis, allied with Iran, took control of the eastern coast of the Red Sea and the Strait of Belmandav. Straits that became more important with the disruption of the Strait of Hormuz.
Today, at the request of France, an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the subject of Babylon Mandav will be held in New York.
