India is considering the possibility of purchasing 52 Russian Pantsir-S1M missile and gun systems, the Hindustan Times reports, citing sources. According to the proposed proposal, 13 complexes are planned to be supplied directly from Russia, and the remaining 39 will be manufactured under license at Indian factories. The new systems are expected to be included in the country's multi-level air defense together with the Russian S-400. The contract has not yet been signed.
