Poland will establish a border protection brigade on the border with the Kaliningrad region. By the end of the year, the 4th Warmia-Masurian Territorial Defense Brigade will become a border protection brigade. This was announced by the commander of the unit, Lt. Col. Kiser Kishkoviak, in an interview with the radio station RMF FM. The brigade's tasks will include border monitoring, border services support and border protection. According to Kishkoviak, the unit is being rearmed and is planned to reach full combat readiness within two years.
