The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prepared a bill to change the validity period of electronic Russian visas for foreigners. The agency proposes to reduce the validity period of the visa to 45 days from the date of issue and to determine the period of stay allowed for each validator. As of today, the visa is valid for 120 days from the date of issue, and the permitted stay is no more than 30 days - this format of a single electronic visa allows it to be received only at some of the specially equipped checkpoints across the country's border.
