Apple has warned German politicians about possible hacking of their iPhones, Bild writes. According to the publication, the attack could affect members of the Bundestag and members of the federal government. It is assumed that the attackers used mercenary spyware, which allows them to gain access to correspondence, contacts, calendar and geographic location, as well as silently activate a smartphone's microphone and camera. The German Minister of Digitalization, Carsten Wildberger, confirmed that he had received a warning from Apple, but did not reveal details about the possible attack.
