The UAE has revealed the names of two pilots who managed to land a damaged flydubai plane following a terror attempt on a Dubai-Tel Aviv flight. They were identified as Hanson Stephen from Fiji and Rowan Thott from South Africa, according to the "Times of Israel" and Eitaa. Both were on board as relief pilots and were scheduled to fly back. During the flight, co-pilot Hammam al-Hammami attacked the aircraft's captain, Smith from Czechia, with an emergency axe. After passengers subdued the attacker, Stephen and Thott took control of the aircraft and landed in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The pilots' names became known following an award ceremony on October 27.
