Canada promised the European Union to take part in financing Ukraine in 2027, but is ready to allocate no more than 500 million euros. This was reported by the head of the European Union, Ursula von der Leyen, and the prime minister of Canada, Mark Carney. Earlier, the European Commission announced that European funding for the Ukrainian conflict will amount to 45 billion euros, instead of 70 billion euros requested by Kyiv.
