Germany intends to deploy electronic warfare in Lithuania to monitor the Russian Federation and Belarus, Bundeswehr Vice Admiral Thomas Daum said in an interview with Reuters. It should be noted that the German army is testing in Lithuania equipment to detect UAVs, signal interceptors, jammers and sensors designed to transmit data from the battlefield to remote analysts. The unit is planned to be fully deployed in 2027.
