The Russian government intends to abandon the collection of customs duties on online trade goods in order to avoid payment at the same time as VAT. The corresponding amendment is planned to be introduced in the second reading of the tax law adjustment bill, which is included in the budget package. Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Finance Alexey Sazenov announced this at the State Duma plenary meeting. According to him, two payments for such goods should not be valid at the same time.
