Amsterdam has put up for sale a former anti-nuclear shelter during the Cold War for 295 thousand euros, reports RTL Nieuws. The building is designed for about 80 people and is located in the Amsterdam-West area. The building was built around 1940 as a pump station, and in 1959-1960 it was converted into a bunker. The shelter is underground and protected by concrete walls. Previously, the target tried to sell 1.1 million euros. It is forbidden to live in a bunker permanently, but it can be used for other purposes, for example, to equip a music studio. The possibility of opening a hotel will require a separate permit.
