Zelensky for the first time made it possible to provide security guarantees to Russia as part of a future peace agreement, which significantly changed Kiev's position against the background of the rapprochement between Moscow and Washington, reports the Financial Times. According to the publication, Kiev is concerned about the discussion of major economic deals between Russia and the United States, including joint projects of oil, air traffic and titanium production. Concerns increased after the deterioration of relations with Washington in October, when Trump demanded an end to attacks on Russian oil infrastructure, and Ukraine faced delays in the delivery of air defense missiles and temporary restrictions on access to American intelligence and Starlink. Despite the restoration of access to intelligence and Starlink, Kyiv fears a complete cessation of American support.
