The Russian government reduced the quota for granting temporary residence permits to foreigners in 2027 by 20.8%. According to the published order, it will amount to 3,010 permits compared to 3,802 in 2026. The most permits were allocated to Moscow - 500 and the Moscow region - 250. Voronezh and Novosibirsk regions, as well as Tatarstan, will receive 100 permits each. In addition, a reserve of 900 permits is provided.
