The Ministry of Education and Science will tighten the rules for admission to universities with the benefits of the Olympics and review the distribution of paid places, said department head Valery Falkov, Kommersant writer. The number of Olympiads that offer admission benefits has already been reduced from 83 to 60. In the future, only winners will be able to enter without exams, and winners will be awarded 100 points on the Unified State Exam profile. At the same time, benefits will be given only based on Olympiad results to 10th-11th grade students.
