Russian judges should be trained to work with artificial intelligence and new types of digital evidence, Supreme Court Chairman Igor Krasnov said in an interview with Kommersant. He said digital assets, electronic evidence and materials created using neural networks are increasingly being used in court cases. Therefore, traditional legal knowledge is no longer sufficient for judges. The Russian University of Justice is already conducting hands-on classes on analyzing materials created or modified by AI. Judges are trained to identify possible forgeries, ask experts and evaluate recommendations from smart systems.
