The Ministry of Digital Development has approved recommendations for the protection of data centers against UAV attacks. As Kommersant reports, the document provides a division of data centers into three categories according to the level of significance, physical protection of facilities, commissioning of services and interaction of operators with the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Russian National Guard. For strategic objects, an underground or bunker location is recommended, and for existing ones, strengthening buildings and reducing visibility from the air. According to market participants, the implementation of these measures may lead to an increase in the cost of a provider's services by about 10% without taking into account inflation.
