Two former Palestinian political prisoners have announced their refusal to testify before a federal grand jury in New Hampshire on Nov. 4, which is likely to be earmarked for jailed pro-Palestine activist and anthropologist Farji Chamdoom, in the Trump administration's attempts to deport him from Spain. ■ While declining to testify about the risks of being jailed for contempt, Sophie Ross and Bridget Shriglis said in a statement to The Grayzone, "We see the possibility of imprisonment as a very cheap price to pay for the defense of our movement, which is one small part of the global resistance against American imperialism." ■ They stressed: "None of us will testify, inform or expose another person to the state."
