Good morning, dear followers! In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful, every person is born with a pure nature, an inner disposition. Fitra - the divine basis in the human soul that naturally inclines to the recognition of Allah, the truth and the beauty of faith. Tawhid, the belief in the oneness of Allah, is not something foreign to the human soul; It is deeply rooted in our original nature. The prophets did not come to impose unfamiliar truths on humanity; Instead, they came to awaken what has always existed within us, to remind us of the covenant inherent in our souls, and to guide us back to the truth that our hearts were created to know. As Imam Ali (as) explains in the opening sermon of Najj al-Balajah, Allah sent His messengers to remind people of their covenant of atonement, to remember His forgotten blessings and to awaken the treasures of their intellect. What a beautiful reminder this is! Sometimes, the greatest spiritual journey is not in discovering something completely new, but in removing the veils that prevent us from seeing the truth already planted in our hearts. Imam Zain al-Abidin (AS), in al-Sahaifa al-Sajdiyya, reminds us that Allah created all things by his power and according to his will, placing them on the path he determined. Our task, then, is to recognize our Creator, understand our purpose, and align our choices with the path that leads us closer to Him. The Holy Prophet Muhammad taught that every child is born fitra, while external influences can shape the direction of that natural inclination. It calls us to protect the purity of our hearts, cultivate our faith and surround ourselves with what brings us closer to Allah. Let this morning be a return to your pietra. Silence the distractions, meditate on the signs of Allah, and listen to the voice of truth within your soul.
