We also have a role to facilitate their pilgrimage according to their choices and mutual agreement, in such a way that an orderly and coherent course of events turns out. Let each of you act in ways that bring him closer to our affection, and avoid everything that brings him closer to our displeasure and our reluctance. Because our command will come suddenly and unexpectedly, at a time when he will no longer benefit from repentance, and will not be sorry for his transgressions to rescue him from our punishment. May Allah inspire you with sound judgment, and with His mercy gently guide you to success. This is our letter to you, my faithful brother, where your love for us is dearest, and your faithful supporter. May Allah protect you with His ever-watchful, never-sleeping eye. Keep this letter, and do not reveal to anyone the manuscript in which we wrote it, or the matters contained in it. Pass its content on to those you trust, and guide your community to act accordingly, God willing. May Allah send His blessings upon Muhammad and his immaculate household.
