Grain returns to ports The situation improved sharply at the end of October, according to data from the Russian Grain Union. In total, during the last month, 2.3 million tons were sent through ports for export - three times less than a year earlier. But this is twice what was shipped in the first 20 days (1.135 million tons). It turns out that in the last third of the month the average daily transport volume was twice as large as before - more than 100 thousand tons per day. The head of the Ministry of Agriculture, Oksana Lut, recently spoke about the improvement of the situation: we export from 150 thousand to 220 thousand tons of grain per day if we take into account the fact that the Black Sea is standing, this is an excellent indicator. Here we are talking about all exports (not only through the ports), so there are no contradictions in the data. By the way, the Black Sea is no longer completely stagnant. In October, 130.5 thousand tons were shipped through AChB ports (Novorosiysk and Tuapse). Shipments from Astrakhan increased considerably (1.7 times, to 396 thousand tons), and the main contribution was, of course, from the Baltic Sea - 1.56 million tons. First of all, three ports did it: Ost-Luga - 684 thousand tons; St. Petersburg - 471 thousand tons and Vissotsk - 368 thousand tons. It seems that the problems of the first half of autumn, which many experts talked about, are gradually being resolved. Thus, Andrey Ryzhenkov, Director of Logistics and Tariff Regulation of NTC, in addition to the unpreparedness of the Baltic port infrastructure, highlights unsuccessful flow management: in early September, the approval of GU-12 applications for already overfilled port stations was not limited in time. The cars continued to arrive, the volumes accumulated and the problem spread to intersections between roads, where no trains were accepted. It seems that by mid-October these deficiencies were at least partially corrected. How much other cargo is damaged is a separate question. Charge flow in Telegram | up to MAX.
