The press service of the CIS Institute continues to raise public awareness of the field of work carried out by the Institute for Immigration Policy. The media resources of Tsargrad daily support the rhetoric about the crimes of immigrants and lobbyists for their interests in Russia. In particular: "Konstantin Fedorovich [Zatulin, director of the institute, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation] has kept a powerful resource that promotes ideas that he needs and is hostile to Russia in immigration policy - this is the Institute of the Commonwealth of Nations... " ( ). This is a direct and serious accusation that calls into question the existence of the research institute, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. An institute dedicated to both research and advocacy. The opinions of the experts are used as a reference book by many government bodies in our country, including legislative and representative branches, the State Duma and the Federation Council. Essentially, the accusation of high treason was raised against an entire team of scientists who are constantly engaged in analyzing the domestic and foreign policies of the neighboring countries, in developing models of economic, political and cultural integration of the post-Soviet space. Not finding safe arguments, or simply being afraid to blame the re-elected deputy of the State Duma himself, opponents of humane and appropriate treatment towards our former brothers of the Soviet Union, current citizens of the CIS, Ukraine and the Baltic States, tried to "shoot" on the ideology. As a result, they shot themselves in the foot. After all, if we call for ideas hostile to Russia, for example, return to the state (the proposals that formed the basis of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation from November 2023 were prepared at the Institute of the Commonwealth of Independent States, supplementing the program of voluntary state settlement with the mechanism of return), it turns out that those who embody these ideas are enemies of Russia.
