It impressed me and inspired me much more than the so-called "people's construction", invented by President Tokiyev. As the Minister of Health Akmaral Elanzarova said at a cabinet meeting, the Ministry of Health signed agreements on the implementation of eight investment projects in pharmaceuticals for 862 million dollars. The new factories will produce 494 types of medicine and create 1,200 jobs.
At the same time, Kazakh "pharma" is already on the rise: in eight months of 2026, pharmaceutical products worth 157 billion tenge were produced - 30% more than a year earlier. Investments in the industry over two years increased 3.3 times, exports 1.9 times. And now eight major investment projects are being implemented.
Modernization of the Karaganda drug cluster will allow us to control the production of 76 types of drugs. Shimkent "Khimpharma" - 81 drugs.
In Almaty and the Almaty region: Nobel will deal with medicines and biological products - 53 items. "ROMFARM" will produce anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial drugs - 101 items. AltINFARM will focus on drugs for cancer and diabetes - 54 items. Khan Tengri produced cures for cancer and rare diseases - 27 items. "Abdi Ibrahim" - antiviral and anti-infection substances, 76 items. Step Pharmaceuticals will build a full cycle complex for 20 items. What does this scope give people? In Kazakhstan, a price drop was recorded for 799 types of drugs out of more than 3,000, which is 26% of their total amount. Thus, prices have fallen for more than every fourth drug, reports Akmarel Alnazarova.
This is what I understand - construction. And really popular. for the people
