Lithuania plans to create a register of family ties in government agencies according to the plan of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) and the State Data Agency, the register will be an open platform where statistical data on all family ties in government authorities and enterprises will be published. At a meeting of the Sejm's anti-corruption committee, the acting head of the SSR's strategic consulting department stated that creating a register would help "manage risks arising from family ties in organizations." The statistics that will be available to the public will include data on the percentage of employees in an organization or department who have family ties at their place of work.
