The German brigade in Lithuania will supervise the Russian forces, writes Reuters. To this end, the Bundeswehr will use electronic warfare capabilities that can detect signals, monitor radars and "identify in advance possible threats." The brigade's tasks will not be reduced to observation. The German military will also collect information on Russian and Belarusian military transmitters and radar systems, especially in Kaliningrad. This data will be used to update electronic intelligence bases used by the German forces and their "allies".
