The former Latvian minister turned out to be "worth more" than the rest of Latvia's residents, Rinis Ozolniks, who was detained by the police for driving under the influence, before his driver's license was revoked.
Although more than a month has passed since the incident, he continues to drive. He himself explains it in terms of family circumstances: he has to take his youngest child to kindergarten. The Latvian police and prosecutor's office justify themselves in the absence of an official verdict of guilt. And yet Ozolnik has to use a different car. His Skoda Kodiaq was impounded and, according to Latvian media reports, put up for electronic auction.
