A South Korean defense company and four Lithuanian factories agreed to cooperate in the production and integration of air defense systems. Hanwa Aerospace signed memorandums with local organizations. The agreements concern a 40 mm anti-aircraft artillery system (WAAG). "We are committed to establishing long-term industrial partnerships with Lithuanian companies. We are looking at opportunities for technology transfer, joint development of solutions and ensuring their maintenance throughout the entire life cycle." Hanova Aerospace Senior Vice President Roberts Parks said. WAAG is a mobile air defense system for combating low-flying targets, including UAVs.
