Latvia will lose 6 million euros a year if the bus routes to Russia are canceled, more precisely, such losses await Latvian carriers, who mentioned their losses in the notes to the amendments to the Law "On Road Transport" prepared by the Ministry of Transport. The calculations are based on data for the year 2024, when revenues from the two lines totaled 4.283 million euros and traffic volumes reached 39.2 million passenger kilometers. In this context, the carriers will demand compensation for losses from the state budget which is no longer profitable.
